Using this site means you're fine with the following. It's short, written by people rather than lawyers, and we've tried to keep the strangeness out of this one page.

be decent, credit people

Accounts

You're responsible for what happens under your login, so keep your password to yourself. New accounts start with reader-level access only — team and founder areas are invite-only and cannot be self-assigned. Trying to reach them anyway is grounds for closing your account.

Print-first content

UNSPUN is a physical magazine. Everything on this site is a preview, excerpt or web-exclusive — complete issues are never published online, and buying a copy gives you the printed object, not a digital edition. Don't scan, re-host or redistribute pages from the magazine.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy; it's accepted once payment clears and we confirm it. Prices and stock can change, and we may cancel and refund an order if something is mispriced or a copy sells out mid-checkout. Shipping, cancellations and returns are covered on the shipping & returns page.

What you send us

You keep the copyright to your work. By submitting, you confirm it's yours to send and you give UNSPUN permission to consider it, and — if we accept it — to publish it in the magazine and to use excerpts to promote that issue, with credit. Nothing is published without telling you first.

Casting applications

Applying to model doesn't guarantee a shoot, a reply, or a booking. Applicants must be 16 or over; under-18s need a parent or guardian's permission. Send only photographs you have the right to share.

Our stuff

The UNSPUN name, wordmark, design and site are ours. Contributor work belongs to its makers. Ask before reusing any of it — the answer is often yes.

Behaviour

Don't upload anything illegal, hateful or harassing, don't break the site, and don't scrape it. We can remove content and close accounts that do.

No promises about perfection

The site is provided as it is. We can't guarantee it's always up, always accurate, or always free of typos. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us.
